Saudi aid agency drive to combat blindness in Djibouti ends

DJIBOUTI: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center recently concluded a voluntary medical campaign in Djibouti to combat blindness and its associated diseases. During the campaign, the voluntary team conducted 8,000 medical examinations and performed 785 surgeries, in addition to dispensing 2,000 spectacles. Families and individuals with limited income who are unable cover the costs of treatment benefited from the campaign. KSrelief treats and provides medical care to those of low incomes suffering from eye diseases in many needy countries in accordance with the agreement signed with the World Sight Foundation.
