The Red Sea Development Company (TRSDC), the developer behind the world’s most ambitious regenerative tourism project, has been awarded the prestigious ISO 270001:2013 for its esteemed information security management system and compliance with national and international standards. SGS, a world-leading testing, inspection and certification company has conducted an audit and examined TRSDC’s systems, internal frameworks, and processes to ensure adherence to best practices and standards of internal and effective management of information security in construction organizations. TRSDC was awarded the ISO 27001:2013 for successfully establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving its information security management system, as well as efficiently assessing and treating information security risks that could affect the business. This is a great result for TRSDC and demonstrates yet again how we are leading the way as we develop world-class tourist destinations in the Kingdom. Maintaining state-of-the-art security across our projects is of the upmost importance to us, and we’re committed to evolving our own systems and sharing any knowledge gained with the industry, both here in the Kingdom and further afield, said John Pagano, CEO of TRSDC. He added that TRSDC has been committed to achieving excellent information security practices since the inception of the company in 2017 and has been developing its processes ever since. By adopting a globally recognized information security management standard (ISMS), TRSDC has ensured that security is part of company culture and resilience to cyber threats is strengthened. “This certification is an important achievement for TRSDC and demonstrates our dedication to ensuring strong information security across the company. “The certification is also a testament to the hard work and talent within our cyber security team, which has grown significantly over the past two years and will continue to go from strength to strength,” said Sultan Moraished, chief information security officer of TRSDC. — SPA
