A number of public education schools in various regions and governorates across the Kingdom have conducted on Sunday simulation experiments of the safe return of students to elementary schools and kindergartens. Parents participated along with their wards in the experiment, which was held as part of the intensive preparations being carried out by educational departments prior to the reopening of elementary schools and kindergartens all over the Kingdom on Jan. 23. These experiments were aimed at enhancing psychological preparation of boy and girl students, and fulfilling all the requirements for attendance in schools, and motivating students to return to their schools after a break of more than two academic years. It also aimed at encouraging newcomers’ welcome to their school premises on their first school day.
