Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, held on Monday phone conversation with Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates. During the call, they discussed issues of mutual interest, especially the regional issues. The Crown Prince expressed his condemnation of the blatant terrorist attack on Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates on Monday by the terrorist Houthi militia, which resulted in the death of a number of civilians in the UAE. He offered to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi his deepest condolences over the death of a number of people and wished speedy recovery for the injured, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The two leaders reaffirmed that these terrorist acts that targeted the Kingdom and the UAE will increase the resolve of the two countries and their determination to continue confronting these aggressive terrorist acts carried out by the forces of evil and terrorism. They noted that these forces have wreaked havoc in Yemen, killing the Yemeni people and continuing to spread their terrorist acts with the aim of destabilizing the region’s security and stability, in their desperate and unsuccessful attempts to spread chaos in the region. This confirms the need for the international community to stand united against these flagrant violations of international laws and norms, as well as to reject and condemn these terrorist crimes that threaten regional and international peace and security, they said. On his part, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan thanked and appreciated the sincere feelings expressed by Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, saying that this confirms the solid ties and close cohesion that unite the two countries and peoples and their determination to confront the forces of evil and aggression.
