India's Reliance Industries digital arm, Jio Platforms, acquires 25% stake in US tech firm

Founded by Pranav Mistry, Two Platforms is an artificial reality startup RIYADH: The digital arm of Reliance Industries, Jio Platforms, has invested $15 million in US tech firm Two Platforms Inc., for a 25 percent equity stake on a fully diluted basis. The move comes as the company steps up automation to bring in the next generation of technology based solutions across its business, India"s Economic Times reported. Founded by Pranav Mistry, Two Platforms is an artificial reality startup that aims to build interactive and immersive AI experiences. Established in 2019, Jio Platforms, wholly-owned by Reliance Industries, is an Indian technology company. Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund is a significant investor as is the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Mubadala Investment Co.
