Saudi Arabia’s pavilion at "Expo 2020 Dubai" shed light on the risks facing the Arabian leopard, one of the endangered species.The pavilion highlighted the Kingdom’s plans to preserve nature, especially endangered animals, as a wealth that must be preserved, as part of the pavilion’s celebration of the Arabian Leopard Day, which coincides on February 10 of each year, to reflect the importance of the steps taken by the Kingdom to consolidate the principles of environmental conservation. On this occasion, the Kingdom’s pavilion screened a short awareness film in both Arabic and English, showing the importance of preserving the Arabian Leopard, which is one of the wild cats that inhabit the Kingdom’s territories. It is estimated that around 200 leopards exist in the Kingdom. The awareness documentary attracted the attention of hundreds of visitors to the pavilion and underlined the importance of protecting it for its role in maintaining the natural balance. – SPA
