As part of the activities of Saudi Arabia’s celebration of the Founding Day on the evening of Feb. 23, the largest musical show dubbed “The Founding Operetta” narrates a wonderful theatrical that chronicles the history of the Saudi State until the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The lyrical epic is composed by Sahem Nasser Al-Saleh and Nawaf Abdullah, and its singing is praised by Mohammed Abdu, Abdul Majeed Abdullah, Majid Al-Muhandis, Dalia Mubarak and Rashid Al-Fares on the Mohammed Abdu Theater in Riyadh Boulevard. The operetta was written by Prince Badr Bin Abdul Mohsin, Muhammad Al-Anazi, Naif Saqer, Najlaa Al-Muhaya, and Ahmed Alawi, who are among the best poets in the Kingdom. It will highlight the directorial vision, key moments and timeless tales associated with the Founding Day and the march that happened three centuries ago, in addition to various scenes and patterns of the Saudi State from the old traditions up to the modernization it has undergone.
