Niger, Mauritania and Chad support Saudi bid to host World Expo 2030

The President of the Republic of Niger Mohamed Bazoum expressed his country"s support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia"s bid to host the World Expo 2030 in Riyadh. Similarly Mauritania’s President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani in Nouakchot voiced his country"s support for Saudi Arabia"s bid to host Expo 2030, and in N"Djamena Secretary of State at Chad"s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad Omar Bin Daoud too announced his country"s backing for the Kingdom. President Bazoum"s support was forthcoming when he received Tuesday Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Qattan, and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, Qattan conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammed Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, to the president. In turn, the president conveyed his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, wishing the people of Saudi Arabia further progress and prosperity. President Bazoum affirmed his country"s support for the Kingdom on various issues aimed at achieving security and stability in the African continent. Mauritania President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani too proffered the support during his reception of the Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Qattan. During the reception, which took place in Nouakchott, Qattan conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince to the president. In turn, the president conveyed his greetings and appreciation to the King and the Crown Prince, praising their position in support of Mauritania, wishing the people of Saudi Arabia further progress and prosperity. Chadian Bin Daoud, in a statement to the media Tuesday, said that the decision to support Saudi Arabia"s bid was taken after studying the Kingdom"s dossier, which was received from the Kingdom"s embassy in Chad. President of the Transitional Military Council of the Republic of Chad Gen.Mohamed Idriss Deby meanwhile received Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Qattan, who conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammed Bin Salman to the president and the friendly government and people of Chad.
