Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah met with the Egyptian Siamese twin Hassan and Mahmoud and their parents in the center’s headquarters in Riyadh Wednesday. The twins underwent a successful surgery to separate adhesions in bowel, urinary tract, reproductive organs, and pelvis at the King Abdulaziz Medical City of the National Guard in Riyadh in 2009. Dr. Al Rabeeah stressed that Saudi Arabia will continue to help all the needy and affected people across the world, noting that the program of separating twins is an extension of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of people wherever they are. The humanitarian works are carried out under generous directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense. The parents of the Egyptian twins extended their gratitude and appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s government and people for the efforts of separating their children and treating them by a specialized medical team known for its efficiency and professionalism. This successful separation resulted in improving their health conditions steadily, they said while praising the attention paid to the program of separating twins from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince. — SPA
