The Saudi embassy in Washington announced on Thursday the appointment of commercial attaché Reem Al-Tharwa. Al-Tharwa comes to the embassy following an extensive career of more than 20 years in corporate banking and finance. Prior to joining the General Authority of Foreign Trade as Commercial Attaché, Al-Tharwa served as the General Director of Promoting Investment at the Ministry of Health. During her tenure, she worked to promote and enhance private sector participation in the healthcare sector. As commercial attaché, Al-Tharwa is dedicated to promoting the economic interests of the Kingdom through facilitating support of exports, bilateral trade, and investments between the Kingdom and the United States. — SG
