Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons will go on a one-day hunger strike on Tuesday, after 24 days of rebelling against the prisons’ administration laws. The conditions in these prisons are very tense and may see escalation, head of the Palestinian Prisoner Club Qadoura Faris said, during a protest in Ramallah supporting the prisoners. The prisoners are refusing the administration’s new restrictions including forbidding them from seeing their families and reducing timings for going out into the prison’s yard, as well as the numbers of prisoners allowed to go outside, Faris said. Currently, there are 4,500 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons, among them are 34 women and 180 children. — KUNA
