— A weather analyst at the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has revealed the reasons for the return of the cold wave to some regions of Saudi Arabia. In an interview with Al-Ekhbariyah news channel, Aqil Al-Aqil said most of the Kingdom"s regions witnessed a return of the cold wave because of the northerly winds, which lead to lower temperatures. Al-Aqil stressed that weather fluctuations increase at the beginning of spring. It is expected that Tabuk, Northern Borders and Al-Jouf regions will witness a significant drop in temperatures, Al-Aqil confirmed, while indicating that the temperatures in these regions during the next two days may reach sub-zero levels.
