RIYADH: US software company Jaggaer will open its first office in Riyadh to explore the opportunities the Kingdom has to offer in the field of IT and technology. Saudi Arabia’s IT and technology market was valued at over $33 billion in 2021, according to the International Data Corp. “We recognize there is a growing appetite within the country to adopt the latest technology to ensure seamless purchasing and selling,” said Hany Mosbeh, general manager of JaggaerArabia, according to Zawya. Founded in 1995, Jaggaer is planning to back businesses in the Kingdom amid supply chain constraints, metal scarcity, and the global talent shortage. To achieve this, the company plans to provide dependable sources of supply, greater selection, lower prices, and smart-match recommendations. The expansion also falls in line with the software company’s vision of autonomous commerce, which aims to facilitate the acquisition of vital goods and services for businesses. “We’re excited to be leading the autonomous commerce revolution in Saudi Arabia and placing existing and potential Saudi clients in a position to thrive during this transformational shift,” Mosbeh said.
