RIYADH: Mobily Pay, a fully owned subsidiary of Etihad Etisalat Co., has signed a deal with Visa to unveil enhanced digital payment solutions in Saudi Arabia. Mobily Pay’s consumers will now be able to use Visa’s worldwide network, offering a faster, more secure payment process, according to a statement by Mobily. They will: “benefit from Visa’s secure payments network and the peace of mind of worldwide acceptance at its 70 million merchant partner locations,” said Ayman Aleissa, CEO of Mobily Pay. According to Visa’s general manager in Saudi Arabia, Ali Bailoun, the partnership will “support Mobily Pay’s efforts to enhance their customers’ payment experience.” Such a move comes amid efforts to meet rising demand for online payment options in the Kingdom, by investing in new technologies and delivering innovative payment solutions.
