report MAKKAH — Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, head of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, said that the presidency has been successful in offering the best possible services to over two million Umrah pilgrims during the first ten days of the holy month of Ramadan. The presidency was able to complete the smooth grouping of over two million pilgrims thanks to its concerted efforts and integration of the services through the participation of specialized sectors. “These efforts have led to the provision of the best ever possible services for the pilgrims and that helped them to perform their rituals in ease and comfort in a spiritual atmosphere with security and safety,” he said. Sheikh Al-Sudais said that the Two Holy Mosques witnessed huge influx of pilgrims, visitors and worshipers during the first 10 days of Ramadan after easing most of the coronavirus related precautionary measures and preventive protocols. The presidency, in cooperation with the concerned agencies, is keen on the provision of the finest integrated services to the pilgrims and worshipers and that is line with the health precautions to ensure the safety of the faithful, he added.
