The study also showed that the CSC is examining possible opportunities to attract international companies to the Saudi local market RIYADH: The Council of Saudi Chambers, or CSC, has worked through the private sector to contribute to opening new markets in a bid to achieve food security for basic commodities amid the global supply chain crisis. It has supported and enabled importers and producers in the private sector to maintain price levels of a strategic stock of commodities with high food risks, Saudi Press Agency reported, citing a study prepared by the council. Prepared by the assistant general secretariat for economic affairs of council, the study also showed that the CSC is examining possible opportunities to attract international companies to the Saudi local market. This comes as the world is witnessing a crisis in food supply chains, fueled by global events that have an adverse impact on oil markets and logistics services.
