Yemen"s government announced early Sunday the postponement of the first flight from Sanaa airport due to the obstacles imposed by the Houthi militia and its breach of its obligations under the UN armistice. The flight that was scheduled for April 24 was postponed until the militias returned to abide by what had been agreed upon, Yemen"s government said in a statement reported by Yemen News Agency (SABA). It expressed its regret that the Houthi militia had closed all ticket sales outlets. Yemen"s government announced last Wednesday that the first flights from Sanaa Airport will depart today, Sunday, to the Jordanian capital, Amman, during the two-month period of the UN truce that has been in effect in the country since the beginning of this April, after Jordan agreed to grant the necessary permits and facilities to operate the flights. — Agencies
