RIYADH: United Electronics Co., eXtra, has increased its total number of outlets in the GCC to 53, and in Saudi Arabia to 48. The company said it had invested SR8 million ($2 million) in its latest store, in Maha"el Asseer, according to a bourse filing. The company added the store"s financial impact would begin in the second quarter of 2022. Mohammed Galal, CEO, said, “Reaching our customers across various channels and to serve them as they expect, is the number one goal.” "The new store in Maha"el Asseer is an additional step towards our long term expansion strategy, that put a commitment to serve our customers across the Kingdom," Galal added. After the announcement, eXtra"s shares fell by 0.15 percent to SR132.80, as of 12:06 p.m. Saudi time.
