RIYADH: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center signed a joint agreement with UNICEF to enhance radio education for children affected by conflict in Burkina Faso. The agreement was signed by the center’s assistant general supervisor for operations and programs, Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, and the UNICEF representative for the Gulf, Al-Tayeb Adam, at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh. The agreement aims to enable children affected by the lack of security and school closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic to access basic education through radio education and enhance their reading and writing skills, with 90,000 children benefiting from the project. The agreement is part of efforts exerted by the Kingdom to support the education sector for needy groups in affected states around the world.
