Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday that his visit to Saudi Arabia signals joint will to usher a new phase in cooperation between the two countries. Erdogan, in a statement at Ataturk Airport upon his departure to Saudi Arabia on a two-day visit, affirmed mutual benefits for the two countries as a result of boosting cooperation at the health, energy, food security, military industries and financing. The Turkish president said he would meet during the visit with the Crown Prince, Mohammad bin Salman, indicating the talks would explore the bilateral relations at various levels. Earlier, the Turkish Presidential Office said president Erdogan would pay a two-day visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming the mission would deal with means of boosting the ties and mutual cooperation. — Agencies
