Al-Faiha stuns Hilal to win King’s Cup

Underdog Al-Faiha completed their storybook title run in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup by beating fancied Al-Hilal in penalty kicks in the final on Thursday at the King Abdullah sports city in Jeddah. Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman attended the final match in the tournament and presented the cup to Al-Faiha which won their first-ever King’s Cup trophy in their first trip to the final. The Crown Prince attended the final on behalf of the the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman. In winning their first major championship Al-Faiha took down two of the biggest clubs in the country, Al-Hilal and Ittihad. Al-Hilal entered the match looking to win their first local title this season. Instead it was the gritty Faiha side that lifted the champion trophy.
