Saudi Arabia is largest investor in Jordan with investments estimated at $14 billion

The Federation of Saudi Chambers has revealed that the volume of trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Jordan amounted to about SR16.6 billion in 2021, compared to SR11.6 billion in 2020. The volume of Saudi exports to the Jordanian market amounted to SR11.6 billion and Jordanian imports to the Saudi market amounted to SR5 billion. The volume of Saudi investments in Jordan amounts to $14 billion, through about 900 projects. This came in an economic report issued by the Federation of Saudi Chambers on the occasion of the current visit of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, to Jordan. — SPA
