Saudi minister attends university graduation ceremony in Riyadh

RIYADH: Saudi National Guard Minister Prince Abdullah bin Bandar on Thursday evening attended the graduation ceremony for students at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. Prince Abdullah was received by Bandar Al-Knawy, director of health affairs at the Ministry of National Guard and university president, upon his arrival at the King Khalid Military Academy headquarters in Riyadh. Saudi Arabia’s national anthem was played before the beginning of the graduation ceremony, which started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an. Medical school student Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Dakhil gave the graduates a speech confirming their readiness to serve their country after receiving their academic education and developing skills through the university’s intellectual and cultural activities. He also thanked faculty members for their efforts. Al-Knawy also gave a speech, expressing his appreciation and gratitude for the minister’s patronage because it represented significant support for the university’s academic, scientific, and research progress and a major motivation for continuing to achieve success.
