BUJUMBURA: On behalf of King Salman, Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Khuraiji attended the celebrations to mark the 60th anniversary of Burundi’s independence in Bujumbura on Friday. During the ceremony, the Saudi minister conveyed congratulations and greetings from King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman to Burundi President Evariste Ndayishimiye. Al-Khuraiji also conveyed the Saudi leadership’s wishes for the president’s health and happiness and for the East African country’s progress and prosperity.
