Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said there is Arab consensus on protecting common interests as the Middle East and world grapple with various crises. However, he underscored the importance of respecting each country. He made the remarks on Sunday during a meeting with reporters following his inauguration of several projects. Commenting on his recent meetings with Arab leaders, Sisi said they agreed to voice a united position on common issues, such as the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and national security. Last week, Sisi visited Bahrain and Oman, while he received in Cairo in recent weeks Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He will participate in the upcoming Gulf-Arab-American summit in Jeddah alongside the leaders of Jordan and Iraq. On investments in Egypt, he said massive projects have already been implemented in his country, inviting Arab and Gulf to join in investing.
