Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdel Ali, spokesman of the Ministry of Health, confirmed that no epidemics or diseases have been recorded among the Hajj pilgrims as they completed the Arafat standing, the main ritual of Hajj, and moved to Muzdalifah to spend the night there. Addressing the daily Hajj press conference, he said that the health status of pilgrims is reassuring. The spokesman explained that more than 65,000 pilgrims have benefited from health services, and 108 cardiac catheterization operations were performed. He stressed the need to avoid heat stress while urging pilgrims to use umbrellas, drink sufficient fluids, and take appropriate rest during the rituals. He also called on the pilgrims to wear a mask and avoid respiratory infection.
