Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi on Frday called her counterparts in G20 countries to assume common responsibility to end the Ukraine war immediately and urgently settle differences at the negotiating table. She said at an official meeting of the group"s foreign ministers in Bali that "it is also our responsibility to build bridges to promote common interests and to be part of the solution", stressing the importance of "multilateralism" role in resolving global crises. She added that developing and low-income countries are the most affected by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Marsudi stressed the importance of finding global solutions to those challenges, believing that it has become difficult for the world to sit together as people have lost confidence in multilateralism and its ability to respond effectively to global challenges. It is the first time for G20 foreign ministers and some of the world"s top economic officials to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov since the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine last February. — Agencies
