RIYADH: Dr. Abdullah Al-Asheikh, speaker of the Saudi Shoura Council, received Hidayat Nur Wahid, deputy speaker of People’s Consultative Assembly of Indonesia, and his accompanying delegation, who are currently visiting the Kingdom. During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest and ways to enhance relation between the two countries. They also stressed the need to strengthen parliamentary relations and exchange visits between the two councils. The two sides affirmed the importance of enhancing joint parliamentary work and cooperation between the two councils, which utes to increasing coordination between them in regional and international parliamentary forums in a way that achieves common interests in various fields.
