Officers of the Special Forces for Environmental Security announced that their inspectors have arrested two people in Jeddah for committing environmental pollution. The Special Forces said that the violators, who are Sudanese nationals, polluted the environment and damaged the soil by burning industrial waste for the purpose of collecting copper, noting that they were carrying out the process in an illegal manner. The Special Forces said that they have started legal procedures against the culprits, in addition to referring them to the competent authorities.
