Jeddah Slums Committee begins notifying Al-Montazahat residents in preparation to start the removal work

The Jeddah Slums Committee has begun notifying the residents of the Al-Montazahat neighborhood in preparation for the start of the removal work. The Jeddah Slums Committee said that the removal work in the Al-Montazahat neighborhood is among the total neighborhoods that have been removed, in addition to those that will be removed soon, which amounted to 28 neighborhoods. The committee confirmed that it will continue the removal work in the slums of Jeddah in accordance with the executive plan and the scheduled timetable for the removal of 32 slums in the governorate. It also added that it will continue the removal work in 8 neighborhoods, which are: Bani Malik, Al-Wurud, Mushrifah, Al-Jamaa, Al-Rawabi, Al-Aziziyah, Al-Rehab, and Al-Rabwa. The Jeddah Slums Committee also confirmed that it will complete the process of notifying residents and cutting off the services till the stage of completing the removal work of the remaining neighborhoods according to its previously announced and amended executive plan. The plan includes: Al-Montazahat, Quwaizah, Al-Adl, Al-Fadl, Umm Al-Salam and Kilo 14 Al-Shamali (North Kilo 14).
