ISLAMABAD: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) delivered the third batch of relief items to Pakistan on Tuesday. The shipment, which included 10,000 food baskets weighing 950 tons and loaded on 100 trucks, was received by Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority and would benefit 70,000 people affected by the recent floods, according to SPA. “This project comes as a continuation of the support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and HRH the Crown Prince, through the KSRelief,” said Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Pakistan, who attended the handover of the items.
