Minister of Transport and Logistics Eng. Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Jasser and the President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) Dr. Abdullah Bin Sharaf Alghamdi, signed here Wednesday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in advanced analytics and artificial intelligence applications in the transport and logistics sector. The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the second edition of the Global AI Summit, held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh. The memorandum aims to expand the use and employment of data and artificial intelligence in the transport and logistics sector by developing the uses of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence algorithms in several areas. The areas include multimodal transport modeling and forecasting future demand, improving mobility and service efficiency and enhancing the integration of transportation and supply chain patterns, in addition to behavioral and demographic studies of users of transport patterns. — SPA
