DUBAI: Irish pop band Westlife, Egyptian superstar Angham and famed Lebanese Armenian musician Guy Manoukian will perform as part of AlUla Moments, organizers announced on Thursday. For the latest updates, follow us on Instagram @arabnews.lifestyle The lineup of artists also includes French-Algerian singer and songwriter Souad Massi and Armenian Spanish violinist and musician Ara Malikian. The acts will take to the stage at Maraya, the world’s largest mirrored building set among the desert landscapes of Ashar Valley. Westlife, who were announced earlier in September, will hit the stage on Sept. 28 as part of their “The Wild Dreams Tour.” They will be joined in the following days by the newly announced lineup — Angham on Oct. 6, Manoukian and Malikian on Oct. 7, and Massi on Oct. 14. Angham has a catalogue of more than 30 albums, with songs varying between Egyptian and Gulf Arabic dialects. For his part, Manoukian, who will head to Saudi Arabia for the first time, has played to sold-out halls across the world, from Sydney to Chile. Massi will also perform in Saudi Arabia for the first time. The audience can expect songs from her latest album “Sequana,” which blends her musical style of folk and Chaabi with Caribbean and Brazilian influences.
