NEW YORK: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met Venezuelan counterpart Carlos Faria Tortosa on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York City on Friday. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Venezuela and ways of enhancing them in various fields, in addition to exchanging views on issues of common interest. The Saudi minister also met Malian counterpart Abdoulaye Diop. They reviewed bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Mali and opportunities for joint cooperation between the two friendly countries.
