Saudi Arabia’s Jadara E-Recruitment System announced its transition to the Unified National Employment Platform, effective from Sunday, Oct. 9. Jadara said in a statement on its Twitter account that the platform would work to connect Saudi jobseekers with job opportunities available in the public and private sectors. “All data previously registered in the Jadara system, including the points earned, will be available through the Unified National Employment Platform,” the statement said. It is worthy to note that the Council of Ministers approved, in February 2021, the establishment of the Unified National Employment Platform, which includes a database of jobseekers in the public and private sectors according to the questionnaire designed for this. The Ministry of Civil Service launched earlier Jadara Program for E-Recruitment, recording those who want and are willing to be recruited through its new Jadara program. The Jadara system enabled Saudi jobseekers to register their personal data, qualifications, and work experience, with the necessary documents attached. It also provided an electronic application service for vacancies advertised by government agencies, compatible with their qualifications and specializations. After that, the data is automatically matched and audited, and then this data is passed through the automated nomination system, after which the nomination points are displayed to all applicants on the advertisement, with their desires for jobs, in addition to the jobs for which they were nominated.
