RIYADH: Al-Murabba, one of the 15 entertainment zones of Riyadh Season, has been welcoming tourists since its opening on Nov. 3 with a variety of exquisite cuisines offered by eight restaurants and two international cafes. The eateries are from France, Italy, Japan and China, and staffed by famous chefs. Visitors enter the zone through the Saudi National Museum, gardens, and corridors adorned with artwork. There are exclusive indoor and outdoor seating areas, presenting musical and artistic performances. Gourmet lovers have a choice of Maine Mayfair restaurant that serves American and French food, or Ho Lee Fook restaurant which offers a taste of traditional Chinese dishes with a modern twist. The zone also features Nakahara Restaurant where dishes are prepared according to the Japanese barbecue method. La California Cafe from the French city of Cannes offers various international dishes prepared by a skilled chef. Additionally, the 1960s-era Trattoria 13 Gobbi restaurant serves inventive Italian cuisine, and L’Eclair De Genie sells well-known French pastries. Carbone is one of the international restaurants in Al-Murabba, which offers American-Italian food in a style that is reminiscent of Europe in the late 1950s.
