Jeddah Municipality sets up live screens to support Green Falcons in World Cup

The Jeddah Municipality announced that it has set up huge screens for the live show of the World Cup matches in several places around the city in order to support the Saudi national team participating in Qatar World Cup 2022. Director General of Community Service at the municipality Majed bin Omar Al-Solami confirmed that the Jeddah Municipality has worked out several activities to support the Saudi national team. Several recreational displays such as fireworks, face painting corner, showing off soccer skills and many more activities are arranged for the enjoyment of the fans at the sites designated for watching the matches. Al-Solami said that Jeddah’s residents and visitors will be able to watch the matches all over the city. The screens to broadcast matches will be installed in several places, including the municipality headquarters building, King Abdulaziz Cultural Center in Abraq Al-Raghamah, Prince Majed Park,Tahlia Park, Middle Corniche Park, Tahlia walkway, Al-Fayhaa walkway, Taiba walkway, Al-Rehab Walkway, and Al-Yamama walkway. The Saudi national team is in Group C, which includes Argentina, Mexico and Poland. The Green Falcons will meet Argentina in their first match on Tuesday, Nov. 22. They will play against Poland on November 26, and will face Mexico"s team on November 30 in the last match of the first round.
