DUBAI: Saudi Arabia’s Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal) received on Tuesday a delegation from the UN Center for Combating Terrorism (UNCCT).  Mansour Al-Shammari, the Secretary General of Etidal, briefed the delegation led by Undersecretary-General of the UNCCT Vladimir Voronkov on the organization’s efforts in combatting extremist ideology, state news agency SPA reported.  Al-Shammari shared some of the social initiatives executed by Etidal, which Voronkov praised for its pioneering role in fighting terrorism both on a regional and international level.
