Islamabad, Jumada II 7, 1434, Apr 17, 2013, SPA - At least five people were killed and seven wounded Wednesday in a suspected US drone strike on an alleged militant compound in north-western Pakistan, officials said. The pre-dawn strike took place in a remote area in South Waziristan, one of seven volatile tribal regions along the Afghanistan border. An official told DPA that the drone fired at least two missiles into a mud compound.
