Washington, Jumada II 14, 1434, Apr 24, 2013, SPA - The United States condemned Tuesday’s attack on the French embassy in Tripoli, Libya, the State Department said. “The United States condemns Tuesday's attack on the French embassy in Tripoli, Libya, and extends its condolences to all those who were hurt as a result of the bombing,” State Department spokesman Patrick Ventrell told reporters. “France is one of our closest allies in promoting peace and development around the world. Such violence is a direct attack on all Libyans, who fought a revolution in order to enjoy a democratic future with security and prosperity. We look to the Libyan government to continue its efforts to strengthen security across Libya and to bring the perpetrators of this crime to justice,” Ventrell said. --SPA 11:32 LOCAL TIME 08:32 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/1102380
