"I won't resign," Yanukovych said in a television interview, according to the Itar-Tass news agency, dpa reported. He said he would not leave Ukraine and called on international observers and mediators to stop his opponents. "This is not an opposition, these are bandits, he said. Yanukovych compared the situation in Ukraine to fascist Germany.
