Kuala Lumpur, Jumada I 22, 1434, Apr 3, 2013, SPA - Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak dissolved parliament Wednesday, paving the way for an election. The election commission was to meet immediately to set the date for the ballot, which will also elect members of federal parliament and states' assemblies, according to a report of DPA. Najib urged political parties to be responsible and respect the electoral process. In a televised message, he affirmed that Malaysia has leapt ahead, adding that the Malaysian economy has gone from strength to strength. The commission said there are 13.3 million eligible voters.
