RAMALLAH, Shawwal 12, 1432, Sep 10, 2011, SPA - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will meet Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan and High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, on Monday in Cairo, said the Palestinian President's spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh on Saturday. Abbas will discuss with Ashton the Palestinian bid to seek full United Nations membership of a Palestinian state within 1967 borders, Abu Rudeineh said, noting that Abbas will listen from Ashton EU’s position on the Palestinian UN bid. He said the Palestinian leadership is willing to hear anyone’s position on this matter.
