London, Sha'ban 25, 1432, Jul 26, 2011, SPA - British Foreign Secretary William Hague announced today that Britain and France were "completely united" on the conflict in Libya. Hague made this announcement while talking to reporters along with his French counterpart Alain Juppe after a bilateral meeting in London that focused on the conflict in Libya. He said "Britain and France were united on the question ever since the start of the (conflict) in Libya and delegated our armed forces to save lives." "Moreover, We (Hague and Juppe) have shown complete accord. Both London and Paris are following the same tracks. "We believe that the two countries should continue to exercise strong pressure on the Libyan regime." "If we had not intervened before four months, a massacre would have occurred in Benghazi." --SPA 13:06 LOCAL TIME 10:06 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/913678
