Washington, Rabi'II 2, 1434, Feb 12, 2013, SPA - The U.S. Department of State announced Monday that Undersecretary for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman will lead the U.S. delegation to the Libyan ministerial in Paris this week. The meeting “is designed to demonstrate the international community’s strong support for the Libyan people and the democratically-elected Libyan government as it works to establish security, to bolster economic development, and to facilitate the next steps of the democratic transition,” State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland told reporters.
