Ankara, Shawwal 4, 1432, Sep 2, 2011, SPA - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu announced today that his country decided to expel the Israeli ambassador in Ankara and to freeze all military agreements with Israel. In a press conference reported by French News Agency (AFP), Davutoglu said, "The measures that we take in this phase include the reduction of relations between Turkey and Israel to the level of second secretary and all the staff above the level of the second secretary, especially the ambassador, will return to their country on Wednesday at the latest." It is noteworthy that the Turkish Foreign Minister announced on Thursday that his country will impose sanctions on Israel if it continues refusing to apologize for the attack by Israeli navy on an aid flotilla to Gaza, which led to the killing of Nine Turks in 2010. --SPA 14:11 LOCAL TIME 11:11 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/921884
