Kandahar, Afghanistan, Ramadan 13, 1432, Aug 13, 2011, SPA - A roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan tore through a mini-van on Saturday, killing five civilians including three women, a government spokesman said. The bomb hit the vehicle in the Greshk district of Helmand province on Saturday morning, said Daud Ahmadi, the provincial governor's spokesman. "Five civilians, all members of one family, were killed in the bomb blast as they were driving to another nearby village," he said. Ahmadi blamed "the enemies of peace and stability," a term often used by Afghan authorities to describe the Taliban. --SPA 13:26 LOCAL TIME 10:26 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/917610
