WASHINGTON, Rabi Al-Awwal 15, 1432 H/Feb 18, 2011, SPA -- Intel Corp Chief Executive Paul Otellini will be named to a panel of experts advising President Barack Obama on jobs, the White House said on Friday, according to Reuters. Otellini will join the President's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, created in January to focus on lifting hiring and promoting growth. General Electric Co Chief Executive Jeffrey Immelt was named last month to lead the new outside board advising the White House on economic policy. Other members of the Council will be named in the coming weeks, the White House said. The Immelt-led board replaces an economic recovery advisory panel Obama named in 2009 to help guide his efforts to rescue the economy and rebuild the shattered U.S. financial system. --SPA 23:45 LOCAL TIME 20:45 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/865779
