Rome, July 06, 2010, SPA -- The Foreign Ministers of Germany, Britain, Spain, France and Italy have called on Israel to change its policy towards the Gaza Strip. In a statement issued by Italian Foreign Ministry on Monday, the ministers stressed the need for fundamental change in Israel's policy to allow for a lasting settlement of the situation in the Gaza Strip in accordance with resolution No. 1860 of the UN Security Council in 2009 which called for an immediate and lasting cease-fire that should be respected completely and lead to the full withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza.
