Washington, Shawwal 27, 1431, Oct 6, SPA -- U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates is expected to meet his Chinese counterpart next week at a security conference in Vietnam, the Pentagon said Tuesday, one week after Beijing resumed military relations with Washington. “I don’t know that we’ve confirmed it as of yet. But I think both sides clearly wish to have such a meeting,” chief Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell told reporters.
